Dedicated for a long time in active promotion of no-obstacle space for movement, Sindiatai Enterprise Company is awarded Innovation Research Prize for Medium and Small Business for this year by the Department of Medium and Small Business of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for its unique innovated formulation of working technology of Solomon Antiskid Compound. As indicated by said company, this country has seen a high frequency of accidental slips and injury cases. According to statistics, there are on average 33,000 people who slipped and injured themselves in Taiwan every year. To reduce accidents resulting from slips and falls, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior have joined efforts in legislation to allow businessmen to add the item of antiskid treatment projects on flooring and stone building materials and sale of ceramic tile antiskid compound in their scope of business operation. In state-run and private institutions in the United States and Japan, including their buildings, schools, nursery homes for senior citizens and swimming pools, antiskid technology has been used extensively. Stone building materials and ceramic tiles are treated with antiskid technology to prevent accidents that may be caused by slips and falls.
